During the Vietnam War, metal plates were used to mend the skulls of American soldiers who had received bullet wounds in the head. It is often said, that someof these plates funtioned as radio antennas, forcing the unfortunate veterans to listen to the radio.

Auditory hallucinations are common among those suffering from schitzophrenia, many of whom claim "radio waves" flow into their brains against their will. Often these patients feel that they are being "wiretapped". In actual fact, countless "bugs" are being sold and placed illegally. There are even people whose job is to locate them.

In the brain information is transmitted via a weak electric pulse that runs between synapses.

In the world we live in, many radio waves flow through the atmosphere, and a vast number of electromagnetic waves leak out of electric wires running over our heads.

It's risky to make thoughtless connections between all of these phenomena and then jump to conclusions -- however, we must be aware that we are living in an unsave environment.

The reason the "madness", as defined by foucault, is fascinating is that the foundation of all madness can be tracked back to individuals. If there was a "madness" that spread to people from outside, however, this would only simplify and minimize the process of madness, because the process would be clearer.

In other words, if human beings could be changed by external factors, we would have to conclude that this phenomenon was different from "madness".

If the intentional systematization of the process of changing human conciousness is a possibility, then this may already have been done.

If that is the case, who is doing it ?
